Some animals can have a meal and can not have a meal for quite sometime.In snakes lives when its summer they eat until winter and when it is winter they curl up and go to sleep.
When snakes go to sleep in Winter,they have a period of rest for a very long time.
They eat up all their food and the food is stored and is made into FAT and is stored in side them.
Bears do the same thing,they eat their food and hibernates too.
Camels, they can live without food,even if the camel is walking from a long distance.The Camel has a hump where the stored fat is.In the desert there is no food for the Camel to eat.
